Reviving Universalist Christianity
The Universalist Christian Initiative is a project to identify and create Universalist Christian resources, and to support those hoping to restore Universalist Christianity to institutional viability. To that end, we will also consider applicable models of ministry leadership and administration, inspired by recent developments in the technical and nonprofit sectors, and develop useful Universalist Christian resources for professionals, worship group and church organizers and those new to Universalist Christianity.
The director of the Universalist Christian Initiative is the Rev. Scott Wells. He is a Universalist Christian minister holding fellowship with the Unitarian Universalist Association and was formerly the pastor of churches in Georgia and the District of Columbia. Since 2003, he has written extensively on these themes at boyinthebands.com, and now at revscottwells.com. He lives in Washington, D.C. with his husband, Jonathan Padget.
